I’m Giacomo Bordiga. I live in Soncino, Italy, where I drive innovation in materials engineering.

I’ve been passionate about creating and improving things for as long as I can remember. My journey in engineering began well before I earned my MSc in Materials Engineering from the University of Brescia. Joining Micron Coatings Group in 2009, I quickly grew into my role as General Manager, overseeing the development of advanced surface treatments.

My fascination with materials and processes has driven me to implement cutting-edge Quality Management Systems, lead digital transformation initiatives, and ensure our companies remain leaders in the industry. My commitment to excellence is matched only by my dedication to continuous learning and innovation.

Today, as a key figure at Micron Coatings Group, I focus on enhancing operational efficiency, product quality, and customer satisfaction.
